Hamam – what is this?

HAMAM – this word we often hear from the lips of acquaintances, it can be traced in commercials and the first thing to visit while in the Arab countries. Тowadays Hamam took his place in Ukraine. So what is it?! A short digression into the history will answer this question.

The appearance of the hamam lurks in the depths of the centuries of the Byzantine Empire. It was in Byzantium, in the city of Pergamum, which today is on the territory of Turkey and is appropriating the birth of a Turkish bath or as we call it “Hamam”. The word “Hamam” comes from the Arabic word “ham” – “hot.” Originally, the Hamam was a kind of structure that was heated with a large boiler with water, and the steam that was formed from boiling water was fed into the holes in the walls. The Turkish Hamam standard is a marble mosaic, kurns near the walls and powerful cranes, as well as a temperature regime. The Turkish bath is not as hot as others, the temperature varies from 30 to 55 degrees, the humidity in the hamam is 100%. and became more luxurious and attractive, as it is the unification of one great culture in one place and in many things that brings youth to person, beauty, purity, peace, joy and fellowship.
